| I'm a Jackass |
 I know I've said a lot and done little (close to none). I've got far less time than I did back in the day. I'll be around the forums more now (I promis daily check-ins) as well as working on keeping the server running.
DJ is actually kicking it with a new group of people, and seeing as how I'm such a nice guy, they should hopefully be joining us on the server (ih.socaplayground.net) and there should be a TF2 server setup at some point. These are things I feel I can say/promise, since they should be happening fairly quickly.

| I know, I know |
 Yeah....I know, everything has *****bled. Life sure does seem to get in the way of play time does it not? Anyways. Not to worry (incase you still were), I still have plans to revive the website at the very least. Most of us play over on PAF and the Evil-Inc server, so unless one of those 2 communities needs another server, I don't see much need to run ours. I just don't have the time right now, especially with peak (Christmas) season coming up. UPS is a busy, busy place. This weekend, I'm going clear the forums and start them fresh. Anyone still around who wants to chime in please do so.
The site will still have some of the CS logos around. After all that is where we all came from. But I feel the forums as well as the news and everything else should encompass more.

| Yes It's True |
 Yes, we have closed down server 1. Never fear, we aren't closing shop. After talking to Nu, and thanking him for his support and continuing support, I decided to close it down and focus on server 2. Which as you may, or may not, have noticed is now a standard CS server. Also it's no longer server 2, it is The So-Cal Playground. Not to worry, Nu has offered us the use of the other box should we want it. Like I mentioned though, I would like to focus on one server and rebuilding our community.
New things now. The server is fully updated, and we might make a change to which stats program we use, as well as rework the stats to introduce some form of ranking for the more competative crowd. I plan to reset the stats coming up here (not just yet) to help get a better feeling of user traffic based on changes made.
I hope to see more of you guys on. DJ, Ender and I have been rocking The Playground almost nightly, if it doesn't pickup, you can find us kicking it over on PAF #2. Not to send our user traffic their way, but they come and join use when PAF is low on players. Playing with a good community is key no matter where it is.
Questions or Comments? You can post them up in the forums, e-mail me, or msg me. The forums will be reworked to reflect current changes, as well clean up server info. Admins can expect another user 'manual' from me to help better understand Mani as well as limitations they may come across.
Last, but not least! I'd like to announce, and welcome DJ to the Admin crew! Another key to our community, Admins from the community, working for the community.
